Robert & Capt. Josh 12/02/2023 — A few tarpon seen on the bottom machines. Spanish mackerel, sheepshead, mangrove snapper, and some small and medium sharks have all been around.

Robert & Capt. Josh 11/25/2023 — Mangrove snapper, Spanish mackerel, a few tarpon (and even a couple hooked), sheepshead around the pilings and hard bottom patches.

Robert & Capt. Josh 11/18/2023 — A couple sheepshead and mangrove snapper from the rocks at the beach. A few Spanish mackerel and bluefish out along the dropoff. Tarpon are in the Pass in targetable numbers, but are down deep and not rolling. Try a larger shrimp, a pinfish or a threadfin dropped down to them.

Robert & Capt. Josh 11/11/2023 — Spanish mackerel, mangrove snapper, a few baby gag and red grouper, random tarpon both on the bottom machines and free-jumping, a few small sharks, and a couple kingfish in the channel heading out.

Robert & Capt. Josh 11/05/2023 — Spanish mackerel, some ladyfish, and at least one free-jumping kingfish plus another hooked. We're also seeing some strongly suspected tarpon on the bottom machines.

Capt. Josh & Fishin' Frank 10/03/23 — Spanish mackerel doing pretty good. The 30-foot line off Cayo Costa is producing some legal and near-legal mangrove snapper.

Robert & Capt. Josh 09/16/2023 — Lots of Spanish mackerel. Snook along the surfline on both sides of the Pass. Some oversize redfish. A handful of whiting. There are also some tarpon in and around the Pass.

Robert & Capt. Josh 09/09/2023 — A blitzkrieg of ladyfish, bluefish and Spanish mackerel has been pummeling bait. Mangrove snapper are in the pass itself in 30 to 50 feet of water. Tarpon are showing up from time to time. Redfish and snook have been caught along the shoreline on both sides.

Robert & Capt. Josh 07/22/2023 — Spanish mackerel and a couple small sharks being caught, plus a couple bigger sharks being seen. The tarpon have dumped right back into the Pass; try drifting with crabs or live threadfins.

Robert & Capt. Josh 07/15/2023 — Spanish mackerel are good here. There are more tarpon than I expected too. Some sharks are around, including some bigger bull sharks. Mangrove snapper are slow, and beach anglers haven't been catching as much as usual.

Robert & Capt. Josh 07/01/2023 — Tarpon have been eating OK here, but the full moon will change things. Some snook along the shoreline. Mangrove snapper in 30-ish feet.

Robert & Capt. Josh 01/07/2023 — From the beach, we've seen sheepshead, a few pompano, bonnethead sharks, snook and redfish. No boater reports. Fishing here is either really good or really bad.

-Venice has a lot of sheep head and snapper along with whiting , flounder is possible

The Tarpon are thicker in the southern Passes but Boca has seen quite a few Tarpon move in
over the lats week. I would still head south like Punta rassa if I was close to there

Tarpon, sharks, Cobia, Spanish and king mackerel. Snook fishin from the beach is getting better by the
day, The Flounder are just pout side of the passes on the snad flats made from the beach melting.
look for a little grass and there should be flounder there.
Snapper fishn on the bottom of the passes is good right now, but you will find several small gag grouper.

Red fish and captiva Passes have a bunch of Red fish & Snook both passes are full of them
Whiting and Snook in stump pass.

Fishin Frank & Robert's report--07/15/15------ Boca pass in the 38 feet of water on the southern side
is loaded up with nice Snappers, Use frozen or live shrimp, for the largers snapper 16 inches and larger
catch some smaller pin fish use them live and whole just off the bottom. for a 16 inch fish they really
fight at that depth. The Tarpon in boca pass is a early mornng first light event, They are feeding on crabs
a 1/2 once wieght and cast up into the currant, and let then carb sink and move in to the fish with the tide.
once the Tarpon get up onto the hill, it is free line no wieghts so the crab can just drift with the slower water
movement.
Captiva pass has big snapper and some huge bull Red fish, the Larger Snook as well as the smaller one Are
thick here in Captiva

While the Snook and Tarpon are in and out of all of the passes, thes two have been better,
The Spanish mackerel can be found in all of the passes right now but they are passing through not staying
for long.

Fishin Frank & Robert's report--07/06/15-----Captiva and Red fish passes have had good fishing for
Gag grouper many keepers being caught in these two passes.
A bunch of Snook in all of the passes, the least amount of Snook would be in Little Gasparilla pass.
Tarpon are doing well in he passes Late morning and after noon seem to be the best for Tarpon
Snapper in Captiva and Boca doing well. al of the passes have Sharks.

Stump pass is a good mixe of Snook and Red fish, some Jacks and blue runners

Boca and Little G Snapper and Spanish

Captiva and Red ifsh passes have had a few legal Gag grouper and some Sharks
with a ton of Snook

rassa has some Big Snook and the Big reds are moving in,

Fishin Frank & Robert 10/03/15------ Big Bull Reds huge Giant have been Red Fish moving through
Boca and Captiva Passes
Venice the Snook fishing is still very good

Pompano, Spanish Mackerel in Boca and Captiva.

Fishin Frank & Robert 10/19/15----- Venice has good numbers of Sheep head and
The Spanish are in all of the passes
Flounder in Captiva and Punta rassa. More mackerel around red fish and Boca

Fishin Frank & Robert 10/27/15----- Been hit or miss, because of the red tide,
Spanish mackerel in Captiva and Red fish pass, doing well.

Fishin Frank & Robert 11/13/15----- Boca has some Nice King mackerel in it.
Captiva has Gag grouper , Blue fish and Spanish mackerel/

Venice has Spanish , Pompano and Snappers.
