Robert & Capt. Josh 02/18/2023 — Bonnethead sharks, trout, Spanish mackerel and ladyfish on top of and outside the bar. Small baitfish reported in the area. Dolphins have been annoying.

Robert & Capt. Josh 02/11/2023 — Trout are the main deal here. Ladyfish, Spanish mackerel, bonnetheads and pompano are the bycatch.

Robert & Capt. Josh 02/04/2023 — Some trout, a couple ladyfish, some bonnethead sharks, and a few Spanish mackerel on the deeper edge. Slow-troll or cast a spoon along the dropoff for the macks, or fish a shrimp to catch the rest.

Robert & Capt. Josh 07/30/2022 — At the corner headed into Turtle Bay, there have been some very nice snook and a bunch of smaller ones. On top of the bar itself, we're hearing about Spanish mackerel, ladyfish and bonnethead sharks.

Robert & Capt. Josh 07/23/2022 — On the bar and the west side, Spanish mackerel, ladyfish, a few trout and bonnethead sharks. Shrimp are doing well; whitebait is hard to find.

Robert & Capt. Josh 08/29/2022 — A few bonnetheads, blacknose and blacktips. Good numbers of Spanish mackerel are around. Trout are taking shrimp and pinfish in 4 to 6 feet.

Robert & Capt. Josh 12/17/2022 — Bonnethead sharks, trout, ladyfish and a few Spanish mackerel have been on the bar. Snook and redfish are biting along the mainland shoreline. Pompano might or might not be around. Shrimp will catch all of it.
